Recycling Resources for K–8 Schools

The Youth for Environmental Sustainability (YES) Toolkit is a resource to assist K-8 schools in complying with state recycling laws by implementing new or enhancing existing waste reduction and recycling programs. The YES Toolkit encourages participation from students, teachers, and parents; and it is a valuable resource that helps improve staff efficiency, provides interdisciplinary lesson plans, and model programs to learn about environmental sustainability in schools. Learn more by clicking this link to access the K–8 YES Guidelines.

Recycling Resources for Higher Education

In addition to K-8 schools, resources are also available to high schools and colleges/universities to assist them with successful implementation of campus-wide recycling programs. Learn more by clicking this link to access the High School and College Campus Toolkit.
